Coming Soon...
Coming soon: Some pictures from my wedding day! Now remember, the wedding was small, I took only a few shots with my camera, Adam's parents took some others that I don't have yet...

1st Visit To Disneyland!
I know, I know, most of you out there are wondering what kind of childhood I must have had where I never made it to Disneyland until age 26. Well I guess we never had the desire to really go but I was fortunate yesterday to visit for the first time the happiest place on earth (and its neighbor, California Adventure)! It was really really a fun time and here are some pictures to prove it!
Lauren and I in the car, moving slowly through the parking garage traffic

Right before entering the Tower of Terror
Not so sure about the 50 ft plunge of Splash Mountain
Okay so we sat in the very front of Splash mountain and got absolutely soaked, head to toe. Here's a picture of our picture from the plunge. I know you can't see very well but I'm in the very front and Lauren is right behind me. My face is priceless huh!?!
Anyway, such a fun day! (even though my face on Splash Mountain would say otherwise)

Engaged!
Adam and I have decided to tie the knot! We're getting married this summer, he's moving to LA! We're very much in love and excited to make this happen! He totally surprised me this last weekend and flew out to LA from OKC to propose...so sweet! The rings he bought for me are so beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I wanted something that I wouldn't have to take off or worry about every time I sit at the piano (which is pretty much 8 hours a day). So here's some pictures of the ring(s). I'm only wearing one of them right now for the engagement....here's what it looks like:
Isn't it perfect??!!? Okay so when we get married, I'll add another ring (obviously). And THEN, when we get sealed in the temple next summer, I'll add the third ring. Each ring is made from a different metal. The one I'm wearing now is yellow gold, the one I'll add this summer is white gold, and the last one is rose gold. They're all eternity bands, meaning the diamonds go all the way around the ring. Here's what they look like all together, so pretty!

So yeah, those are the rings. Yay! Here's a few pictures of Adam and I over the course of our dating life, just for fun.

Another Good Review!
Read this article, another good review of Lyric Theatre Los Angeles's production of Little Women! I was relieved to see that it was a good review considering we all thought the show was a small disaster that night....Cassandra Marie Nuss, who plays Jo, had her dress ripped, which she later tripped over to hurt her ankle, and then the dress got caught on a post as it took the post out of it's bearings, which resulted in a very loud sound when it dropped on to the stage....yikes! (sorry for the run-on sentence:)

Little Women!

Hey all! Most of you know I'm playing piano for a production of Little Women The Musical at the Lyric Theatre in Hollywood. Last weekend was our opening weekend and it went pretty smoothly! I just wanted to post a review we got from stagescenela.com
Click on this link to read it: http://stagescenela.com/html/little_women.html
It was a pretty good review! I'm proud of our show! Along with Cassandra Nuss, who plays Jo in the show, and Penelope Yates, one of our ensemble members, we taped a radio commercial advertisement for the show. It was so much fun! Hopefully one of these days I'll figure out how to post an audio file so you can listen to it....anyone done this before?

Beach, Beautiful Weather, Haircut!
Last weekend, for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, a group of us went to the beach. It was totally surreal to be at the beach in January but I guess that's just one of the perks of living in SoCal. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous despite a couple days of rain over this last weekend. Anyway, we had a great time at the beach, here's a picture of Lauren when we buried her in the sand... She's a mermaid LOL!
Since it had been raining a lot in LA before I got back from Oregon, all of the fog that usually overhangs the city was totally cleared up and we could actually see the mountains! This is a picture my roommate Chelsea took on our drive back from the beach into downtown. It's so clear!!
And speaking of Chelsea, she pretty much has the most awesome hair ever! It's naturally really curly and she came back from the Winter Break with a sweet mohawk. Well last night I did a little work on the hawk because it had grown out a lot. Here's the result! (I also straightened out her naturally curly hair so this isn't what it always looks like.) Love it!
And a side view...
Yes I've worked my magic once again...haha.

I'M BACK!! & Winter Vacation
So I haven't posted for two months....so what?!? Just kidding, I know it's been a heck of a long time since I've posted anything on Blogger so here's a nice long one for ya. It's all about my winter vacation in Oregon. It was such a great time, I'm so lucky to have great friends and family to make it memorable! I got to spend a lot of time with family this vacation, I loved it! Adam was also able to join us for three weeks! We had a blast and here are some pictures...
So the first week I was in Oregon I stayed with my sister before Adam came into town. We couldn't believe the weather! It was like the first winter break where it snowed AND the snow stuck to the ground! White Christmas! The kids loved playing in the snow, it was so much fun. Adelynn was pretty upset with the wind but didn't want to go inside. Carter loved building his very own Frosty with help from Stuart.

When I got to my parents house the weather got even better. It continued to snow and snow! This next picture is of my parent's back yard...isn't it beautiful?
And then I broke out into a nasty rash after Christmas. I think it was a heat rash because the room I slept in was so hot; right behind the fireplace in my parent's basement. The rash was so itchy, I hated it!
Adam was stuck in Phoenix for over 24 hours trying to get to Portland in the midst of the Arctic Blast (that was what the news channel called the snowstorm). Portland airport actually closed not too long after I flew in! Adam was lucky enough to get a ticket to fly into Seattle before they started canceling flights as well. My dad and I took an adventurous drive through the blizzards to pick him up! Adam and I got to do a lot of fun things while he was at my parent's with me. We did some hiking in the Columbia River Gorge, one the most beautiful places on earth!
This pictures is of the two of us at Bridal Veil Falls. With all the snow we had, there was a lot of run off water, which made all of the many waterfalls really beautiful and probably the fullest I've ever seen them.
This is Adam on a tree hanging over Bridal Veil Creek.
The next day we hiked to the top of Multnomah Falls. If you've never seen Multnomah Falls it's a must see. It's the second tallest falls in the United States and huge tourist attraction. Here's what it looks like looking over the top of the falls at 621 feet!
And lastly, here's me at the bottom of the falls. It wasn't raining at all that day, there is so much water coming over the falls that it created a lot of mist, enough to make it feel like it was raining pretty hard at the bottom.
Well, I hope you enjoyed a short recap of my winter break. I must say it wasn't too bad coming back to Los Angeles and waking up to sun and 80 degree weather. Can't complain about that!
